In light of yesterday's postponement, who remembers when snow delayed our opener for about a week. I think we ended up opening on a Sunday with a double header. I forget the year this happened. Sometime in the early 80s.

It was 1982. We were at Disney World. They played the blizzard up north like it was the end of the world. Just the start of a 15 year World Series drought for the Yanks. Which probably felt like the end of the world to Mr. Steinbrenner.
