They seem to finally have an offense! Of course park and league factors will keep their numbers down a bit.

I hope Marcos V has the break out year we have waited for.

I have no doubt he will. His #'s have been depressed by homeparks and his leagues so far, and even this year, we're gonna have to add about 10% to them to know how he's doing, but he's got good plate discipline and hits the ball hard. Listening to a lot of Charleston games last year, made me believe he was very close.

We still don't know who is starting the opener for Tampa and we have less than 90 minutes till game time. That reflects very poorly on the management down there, and that's sad because Tampa is one of the Yankees O and O minor league teams.

Not good! Looks like all the teams are starting badly . Okay, no where to go but up. Tomorrow will be better.

Kontos is sucking.

Kontos bounced back and only gave up 2 runs over 5 innings - just like just about every other starter we've used.

Is this visible/audible somewhere, Phil? I was following the game log before, but I'd much rather listen/watch. . .

I do the boxscore at milb.com Charleston will be on if the delay ever stops.
Reegie, Battle and Nacci are sucking so far.

Mike Martinez came in and gave up a run, so we'll be down at least 3-1 going into the 9th.

They're playing now, Miranda has his first homer, and Reegie, Curtis, Greenwood and Nacci are all starting to hit. Battle's still struggling a bit andf JT is 0-2 with a walk.
